She Wants the Best of Both Worlds

"You get the best of both worlds" Miley Cyrus sings in the theme song to her television show. She tries to get the best of both worlds- both being a teen in Hollywood and being just a regular teenager. But growing up in Hollywood limits her to do whatever she wants (like just doing funny kid stuff) because the media ia all over her.

Miley Cyrus is a household name. She has fans of both genders ranging from four year olds to forty year olds. She has a Disney Channel hit television show called Hannah Montana, has headlined her Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds Tour, has a Hannah Montana movie in the making and is said to make one billion dollars this year.

Miley, 15, has already had some controversies surrounding some pictures she has taken with her friends but always seemed to come out better than ever. Not to mention it never once affected her impact or popularity. Her latest pictures are from a Vanity Fair photo shoot. She appears to be topless and sitting on a bed. She has what seems to be a sheet draped over her with her back exposed.

Cyrus has been getting attention for these photos but not in a good way. Some people think that the photos are racy and not appropriate for a fifteen year old let alone a Disney Channel Star. The media is being extra harsh because of the Vanessa Hudgens nude picture scandal that occurred last summer. In my opinion, I do not think there is anything wrong with the photos taken. They are not offensive or racy in any way shape or form.

As for the semi-topless pics she remained mum. "No comment," she said. Over the weekend, Cyrus released a statement apologizing for the racy spread, saying she was "embarrassed" she took them. Several stars are coming to Miley’s defense. On her blog Rosie O'Donnell told people, "Leave her alone," adding that she approved of the 15-year-old's shots by Annie Leibovitz. Hills stars Heidi Montag and Lauren Conrad also had no problem with the pics. "I think she’s a young girl in Hollywood, and she’s just having fun," Montag said. "[She]'s exploring herself." Conrad added, "I thought she looked beautiful in the pictures. I didn’t find it that inappropriate

A-Rod Scores on and off the Field

Alex Rodriguez, better known as A- Rod, and his wife Cynthia gave birth to their second child. The New York Yankees third baseman took leave from his fellow Bronx Bombers this week for a very good reason: A-Rod became a father to another baby. A-Rod, who is 32, was with his wife Cynthia, who is 34, as she gave birth to the couple's second daughter, born Monday night in Miami, his team announced. The baby’s name has not been revealed but she weighed 7 lbs., 2 oz., at birth, according to the Major League Baseball Web site.

"We are thrilled with the birth of our second daughter and the blessing of having two beautiful, healthy children in our lives," the happy father said in a statement. "A new baby girl, so that's exciting," Yankees manager Joe Girardi exclaimed to the Associated Press on Tuesday. Rodriguez, a two-time American League MVP, and his wife of five and a half years already have a daughter, Natasha, 3. They revealed this second pregnancy exclusively to PEOPLE magazine last October. "We're thrilled. We can't wait," Cynthia Rodriguez said at the time. "It's almost more exciting than the first child in a way, because you can anticipate what you already know is so amazing."

A-Rod and his wife went through a rocky time last year when allegations of Alex straying from the marriage broke out. They both denied everything. I believe him. Yes he is a baseball star and many people love him including girls but that does not mean he will cheat on his wife. Tabloids make up stories to sell paper so readers should not believe everything they hear.Rodriguez, who had been undergoing treatment on his strained right quadriceps, is expected to rejoin the Yanks on Thursday. At that time, he will be re-evaluated to see when he will again be able to play. In this season's 20 games so far, Rodriguez is batting .308, with four home runs and 10 RBIs. Hopefully he is feeling well enough to play. Last season A-Rod hit 54 homeruns and had 156 rbi’s which is the most he has had during his career. He was unstoppable last season and at the rate he is going, he will be this season also.

Six Years and Finally Married

After years of speculation, singer Beyonce Knowles wed her longtime boyfriend, rapper Jay-Z, on Friday, a friend of the couple's tells PEOPLE. Though there is no official confirmation, the friend says, "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family."

The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper's Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny's Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow.The wedding buzz began when the couple got a marriage license (which I wrote a blog about) at a village hall in Scarsdale, N.Y. DJ Cassidy, a favorite of Jay-Z, was hired to spin. "Cassidy mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for Jay Z and Beyoncé's wedding party to happen," says another source. Early Friday morning, workers put up a white tent atop the building in Tribeca, where Jay-Z owns a penthouse apartment. Not long after, an SUV carrying what seemed to be AV equipment arrived, followed by deliveries of party rentals and flowers. A source tells PEOPLE that Amy's Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a "big party." At the apartment, waiters were seen practicing their service.

A couple since 2002, Jay-Z, 38, and Knowles, 26, always kept quiet about their relationship, even as they were photographed together on romantic holidays around the world. Still, marriage seemed to be in the cards… eventually. "I never pictured myself as a bride," Beyonce told Cosmopolitan in January 2006, "but after my sister's wedding, I did start thinking about what kind of wedding I'd want. I don't think I want a big one."

We are not 100 percent positive that the wedding happened but I think we are 98 percent positive. I mean people close to the couple said they were getting married so why would they make it up? I think it is cool that the two love birds have kept their romance on tight wraps because they are never in the tabloids and nothing bad is written about them. Once you are involved in a high profile relationship and the paparazzi find out, they try to bring you down. So whatever works for these two.

Oh My Jonas!

The Jonas Brothers have been taking the music world by storm. They have captured the hearts of many girls (including me) and have a great track record to prove it. After making stars of singer-actors like Hilary Duff and Miley Cyrus, Disney Channel has now set its sights on a trio of teen siblings, ordering a series, movie and concert special starring recording act the Jonas Brothers. Just to be part of Disney is saying something great because Disney is seriously a gold mine. The three brothers, from Wyckoff, New Jersey, have released two CD”s. The second CD was number four on the billboard hot 200 list.

Now, Kevin, 19, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15, Jonas will star in a live-action spy comedy titled "J.O.N.A.S.," which they have already been filming. They play government sleuths a.k.a. Junior Operatives Networking as Spies (J.O.N.A.S.) who prevent evil while working undercover as a superstar teen rock band. The number of episodes has yet to be determined. In addition to the TV show, the Jonas Brother filmed "Camp Rock," a music-filled original movie that will premiere on the cable channel this summer. The Jonases play members of a leading musical group, Connect 3, who are celebrity guest counselors at a prestigious summer camp for aspiring musicians.

The Jonas Brothers already have a following among the tween set. The trio came to the attention of Radio Disney in early 2005 and was added to its playlist in October of that year. Since then, they recorded the theme song to Disney Channel's animated series "American Dragon: Jake Long," and that music video and others have been regularly featured on the network.

The brothers also were showcased in summer 2006 in a concert special from the "Disney Channel Games" at Walt Disney World in Orlando and guest-starred in the record-setting episode of "Hannah Montana" that aired after the premiere of "High School Musical 2."

The Jonas Brothers went on a 54-date arena tour as part of the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds jaunt that kicked off in October. I went and it was amazing! Right after the tour, the three boys went on their own tour called “The Look Me in the Eyes Tour.” Now they are about to go on their very own tour once again called the “Burning up Tour.” I have tickets to that concert in August at Madison Square Garden. I can not wait for it! No one knows what is next for these boys from Jersey, but all we know is that it is going to be great!

Crazy in Love

Singer Beyonce and Rapper Jay Z have been very quiet about their relationship. Beyonce and Jay Z have taken out a marriage license in Scarsdale, New York. According to a source, the pair obtained a license Tuesday morning. The document is valid for 60 days. A rep for Beyonce told PEOPLE, "No comment." Jay-Z's spokesperson could not be reached. Beyonce, 26, and Jay-Z, 38, have been dating since 2002, though the couple has stood unwilling to discuss their relationship publicly. Rumors about their romance began circulating after the singer appeared on Jay-Z's song "'03 Bonnie & Clyde," followed by collaborations on Beyoncé's solo hit "Crazy in Love," in 2003. While the two have remained tight-lipped about the state of their romance, by no means has Beyonce brushed off talk of marriage. In December 2006, the singer told InStyle, a style magazine, "You can't rush a man into anything – whether it's a relationship, marriage or having children." Earlier that month the pair was besieged by rumors that they were all set to get hitched in the Caribbean, a rumor that was quickly squashed by their reps. I hope they get married. I like them both and they are cute together. If they have been dating for six years already, then they are probably headed to marriage.

The House that Ruth Built

Eighty-five years after Babe Ruth christened Yankee Stadium with a home run, the Yankees raised the curtain on the ballpark's glorious sendoff season on Tuesday by posting a crisp 3-2 victory over the Blue Jays. Melky Cabrera homered and made two outstanding catches to earn a curtain call. Melky is keeping the momentum from previous seasons. Yankee shirts were made stating “Got Melky?” The game marked the beginning of a new period in franchise history, with Joe Girardi managing the Yankees to a win in his first game after assuming the position formerly held for 12 seasons by Joe Torre. Closer Mariano Rivera did the honors of handing the ball to his new skipper for safe-keeping. Yankee fans have named Rivera the “sand man” because he puts batters to sleep.
"You play Opening Day and you want to get a lot of the firsts out of the way -- the first hit, the first win," Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter said. "You want to relax and move on. I know he wanted to win this game, and I'm happy for him. Everyone was aware of the fact that this was our last opener here." This is the last year for legendary Yankee Stadium. A new stadium is being built.
The players wore two patches, one on each arm. On their left arm, they wear the Yankee Stadium patch honoring all of the years that Yankee Stadium has become. On their right arm, there is a patch of the All Star Game because it will be held at Yankee Stadium this year. The Yankees showed that this year will be no different than any other season. The Yankees will dominate and hopefully win the World Series making it their 27th World Series win.

Sleeping Beauty

Justin Chambers is better known as Dr. Alex Karev on the hit television show Grey’s Anatomy. He checked himself into UCLA’s psych ward because of a biological sleep disorder. "It's an issue that I've had for a while," the Grey's Anatomy star told PEOPLE in his first interview since the incident. "It's a biological sleep disorder. Your mind keeps racing, and your body is tired. It wants to go to sleep, but it can't." Chambers, 37, who has five children with his wife, Keisha, 38, says in the two months prior to checking in to UCLA, he was sleeping no more than an hour a week. "I got to my wit's end," he says. That is crazy! I can not believe he did not sleep for more than an hour for the whole week. I love Grey’s Anatomy and actually Chambers’ character is one of my favorites. He plays Alex, an eager and competitive intern but he can also be self-absorbed and overconfident. His offensive behavior and poor attitude cause him to be extremely disliked by doctors and patients alike, and he is dubbed "frat boy" by the other interns. Alex prides himself on his honesty, which often lacks tact and can verge on being crude, brutal, and insensitive. This contributes to his poor bedside manner. However, Alex does have a moral code and is the only doctor who tells the truth to patients who make bad decisions about their health, at the risk of offending patients and getting kicked out of surgical cases. He is a great character and I hope Justin gets well.

Life in the Divorced Lane

Kimora Lee Simmons has been married to Russell Simmons for seven years. On Tuesday, Kimora filed for divorce. Her reason was irreconcilable differences. She is seeking legal and physical custody of their two children, Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 5.The Baby Phat designer, 32 also requested that Russell Simmons, 50, be granted "reasonable child visitation ... accompanied at all times by the children's nanny and security personnel." In my opinion Kimora would not be famous if it was not for her husband. Russell, whose brother is Run from the group Run DMC, owned the hip hop label of Def Jam. He also owns Phat Farm, which is a clothing line that is very popular and has branched out into many other things. He is the third richest hip hop entrepreneur right behind Jay-Z and Sean Combs (P.Diddy). Kimora designs Baby Phat clothing and was an actress and a model. She was not famous before marrying Russell and becoming a member of the Phat Farm family. Kimora has a reality show on E! called Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane. I think the shows portrays her as a bit mean and unappreciative. She is always yelling and demanding things. I like Russell a lot better than Kimora but you never know how she really is/ I should not judge her based on a show.

Not So 90210

Tori Spelling has become my new celebrity to research and watch. I knew about her from the show Beverly Hills 90210 as Donna Martin. She has her own reality show with husband Dean McDermott called Tori and Dean: Inn Love. I knew that she had problems with her parents and she was disinherited. I looked up an article on People.com and apparently her father left her less than one million dollars in the will. She was very upset about his not only because her father was a billionaire but because she and her father were very close. I feel really bad after watching her reality show. I thought she had her own money saved up but she does not. Tori and Dean are struggling with money. They have one son and are expecting another child. They have faced many obstacles and I hope that they work it all out. I was watching E True Hollywood Story on her and I learned a lot about her. I just assumed that since her father is Aaron Spelling, she had a lot of money. But just because your parents have money does not mean you do, well in her case at least. Tori and Dean are really trying to set up a great childhood for their son Liam and for baby number two. They bought a Bed and Breakfast in Fallbrook, California. They both continue to work to equally support their family. I hope everything falls into place for them. I am sure it will because Tori is always concocting new business plans. What's next for the Beverly Hills hottie? We will just have to wait and see.

Hansel's So Hot Right Now

Hollywood’s “frat pack” consists of celebs like Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Ben Stiller, Luke Wilson and brother Owen Wilson. They have been in hilarious flicks such as Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, Old School and Zoolander. They are the future of comedic part of Hollywood. One of them is in a new film called Drillbitt Taylor, Owen Wilson. In Zoolander, Wilson played Hansel who was a male model who coined the phrase "Hansel is so hot right now." Owen, who plays Drillbitt Taylor, is sought out by three high school boys who become the center of a bully’s day. Taylor says he likes to live a “home free” existence but that is just code for a homeless living on the beach. He enrolls them in physical and mental training. Taylor makes them go through many obstacles. I am sure it will be hilarious. Owen has had a tough time lately. He split with girlfriend Kate Hudson. Then he had a suicide scare. We were all pulling for him because he is a great actor and I am sure a great guy. Since his suicide attempt, he has been in many movies and is allegedly back with Hudson. The film, Drillbitt Taylor will come out in theaters March 21.

Dirty Pop

Pop Fiction is a new show on E! that focuses on the lives of celebrities. It turns the tables on the paparazzi and lets the celebrities play pranks on them. The paparazzi are always making up lies about celebs so this is their chance to do the work for them. Ashton Kutcher, the number one prankster in Hollywood, is the executive producer. The first episode was about Paris Hilton and Avril Lavigne. The newest news about Paris was that she was converting to a different religion. She was seen with a man who was said to be her Shaman. This news was in all of the tabloids and magazines. It was on the entertainment shows and just about everyone who turned on the television saw her new man. It turns out that it was just a ploy of the new E! show. Paris Hilton had an improbable dinner date with a gray-haired, orange-robed "shaman" who blessed her and urged her to give a diamond necklace to a total stranger. Avril’s whole part of the show was about her being pregnant. They showed her with a little belly to deceive the paparazzi. This week was based on Eva Longoria and Mario Lopez. I love that A.C. Slater! This show was kept under wraps and no one knew what is about. The show is a good way to show the public not to believe everything they hear in the tabloids and newspapers. Pop Fiction, an eight-episode series, is a prank show targeting paparazzi and gullible media outlets. It's made with the eager help of stars, who were the laughing stocks of Kutcher's former MTV show, Punk’d. This time the shoe's on the other foot, and the series has been kept so tightly under wraps that E!'s own website fell victim to the Hilton hoax and other planted stories that producers won't yet divulge.

Now I Know you Got a Buzz off that Alcohol

Ashlee Simpson has been living in her older sister Jessica’s shadow for years. Now, she has her own image and her own fans. She is very different from Jessica and they should not be compared. Ashlee, who has her third album due out on April 22, did an on-air radio show Tuesday. She was in Washington, D.C., on Hot 99.5's Kane in the Morning show. She apparently felt like she was not being treated very nicely. They made a comment that she was drunk for their show. She posted a MySpace blog that stated that she takes her work "very seriously and would never disrespect anyone and come into an interview that way." Listeners apparently got the wrong idea because Simpson spent a lot of her on-air time giggling and refused to answer a lot of the questions directed her way, including questions about her family and love life. At one point, she seemingly forgot the lyrics to her new tune "Little Miss Obsessive." "Uh, the best line in the song is, uh...you know...the, the, uh, 'come over' line," she told deejay Kane (who commented on air, after the interview, that she sounded drunk), presumably referring to part of the chorus, which goes: And I guess we're really over, so come over, I'm not over it.
She was very upset about this and she said that she would never do it. She always giggles anyway but people like to bring her down. They have no life and want to make up lies about other people. But after all, that is their job. I like her a lot. She is herself and did not want to live in the shadow of her sister, like she says in her song “Shadow.”

Worst Day Ever for the Scott's

Okay so One Tree Hill last week was amazing! I know I say that about every episode but this one was the most exciting yet. I am going to shorten my summaries up because they are getting a little long. Basically, Nathan told Haley that the nanny has a crush on him but two weeks ago she kissed him. He conveniently left that part out. Nathan was in the shower and guess who comes walking in, Carrie! Haley walked in and saw them and freaked out, just as everyone would. Nathan was telling Carrie to get out but she did not listen. Carrie told Haley that Nathan loves her which is a total lie. She is out of her mind! Haley told them both to get out. Jamie is upset because he loves the nanny and he made it very clear when he told Haley that he hates her and wants Carrie to be his mom. Carrie went to the house and told Haley that they are in love and that they kissed. Haley confronted Nathan and he said she kissed him which is the truth. As they were fighting, Jamie was in the backyard playing and fell into the pool. He was drowning and finally the parents realized and Nathan jumped in to get him. Haley asked Nathan for a divorce! They can not get divorced. They are the moral center of the universe, well my universe at least! The nanny is ridiculous. She is not only making up lies but she is ruining a marriage! They are a family and she is ripping them apart with lies.
Dan, Nathan and Lucas’s father, had a trial to get out of jail but they did not show the verdict. We have to wait for tomorrow! I hope Dan does not get out of jail but he really adds a lot to the show. Let’s face it; there would not be a show without him. He is the center of most of the drama. I mean he killed his own brother if that does not cause drama I do not know what will. Brooke took Owen, the bartender at Tric, to New York to show him what she really does. A friend from high school, Rachel, was lying on the floor of the NY apartment. She tried to kill herself by overdosing. Owen rescued her. Brooke took her back to Tree Hill to be with friends and to help her get better. I am glad Rachel is back. I liked her from previous seasons even though she and Brooke did not always get along. They became good friends though. Peyton’s old boss tried to steal Mia from her label but was unsuccessful. We will see what happens tomorrow night. These two days can not go by fast enough!

Vinni Viddi Vici

Justin Timberlake is my absolute favorite celebrity! I have loved him since *NSYNC first came out in 1998. He became the love of my life even though he had bleached blonde curly hair. I followed *NSYNC and Justin through all of their CD’s, concerts, and eventually their breakup, which still upsets me. Justin has had a lot of different hairstyles. From that bleached blonde hair to the curly afro to the shaved head, Justin looked good through it all. When he became a solo act, I immediately bought his CD. I saw his FutureSexLoveShow twice last year and I cannot wait until he goes back on tour. Not only is he an amazing singer and dancer, but he has a great sense of humor also. He hosted Saturday Night Live twice, both episodes being widely received. The second time he hosted he sang, along with an SNL star Andy Samberg, a song about a thoughtful Christmas gift. While it was controversial, Timberlake and Samberg received an Emmy for the song.
With the music and television world conquered, Justin began to take over Hollywood. His first was Model Behavior, a Disney Channel Original Movie where he played a model who fell for a small time girl. He has also starred in other movies such as Shrek the Third, Alpha Dog and had a small part in On the Line, the film that starred *NSYNC band mates Joey Fatone and Lance Bass. The most recent film for Justin to star in is The Love Guru. The Love Guru is about Pitka, an American raised by gurus who returns to the USA in order to break into the self-help business. Pitka is being played by Mike Myers. His first challenge is to settle romantic troubles and the professional skid of star Toronto Maple Leafs hockey player Darren Roanoke whose wife Prudence left him for rival skater Jacques Grande, who is played by no other than my main man Justin. Justin plays the sleazy looking character, an Afro-clad, 70s style moustache bearing porn star wannabe who in one scene wears a pair of Speedos! If I was not going to see that movie I am now! I cannot wait until it comes out in theaters!

Swayze Not Dancing For This One

Every girl who has seen Dirty Dancing has fallen in love with Johnny Castle and the actor who played him. The way he moves, speaks, and not to mention his beautiful looks. But this news does not have the star dancing. Patrick Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer which was confirmed by his rep on Wednesday. This is heartbreaking news especially since Swayze has never been extremely ill. The National Enquirer that broke the story said that the actor has five weeks to live. That however is not the case. "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment so far," Dr. George Fisher, Swayze's personal doctor, said in a statement. "All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue." Still, pancreatic cancer is the deadliest form and less than 5% of its patients live over five years after their diagnosis. Hopefully, Swayze will break that pattern. Everyone wished him well and is pulling for him. Personally, I love Swayze. Once I saw Dirty Dancing he became one of my favorites. I really hope his treatment works. Swayze has been in many great films including Ghost which costarred Whoopi Goldberg, Point Break and the movie that changed his career Dirty Dancing. He is scheduled to continue working through his treatment.

Hilton's Being Charged with More Than Bills

It’s no surprise that the Hilton sisters lead a wild life, but who knew that their brother did the same. The Los Angeles District Attorney on Thursday formally charged 18-year-old Barron Hilton with four misdemeanors stemming from his early morning arrest last month in Malibu. Hilton was arrested just after 8 a.m. on February 12 after getting pulled over by a sheriff's deputy on Pacific Coast Highway. According to the arrest report, the minor blew a 0.14 percent blood-alcohol reading, nearly double the legal limit for someone over 21, let alone just 18. He was also in possession of a fake ID, authorities said. He was with a girl in his Mercedes E350 and cops tracked him down after he sideswiped a truck and kept driving.
His bail was posted at $5,000 but it increased to $20,000 because Hilton was suspected of driving with a forged license which is a much more serious crime. After nine hours of police custody, Hilton’s friends pulled their money together to bail him out after his parents and sisters would not. I think that they should have helped him out. That family knows about screwing up and even being in jail because of Paris. They have so much money and I know that what he did was wrong but they still should have helped him. He is family after all.

You Can Find Me in the Club

Last night’s episode of One Tree Hill was shocking to say the least. The entire episode took place at this club called Tric. Lucas’s mom actually owns the space. Peyton’s office is in the back room of the club. Okay so first thing is first. Carrie was hitting on Nathan the entire episode. She walked into the club wearing this skimpy red dress and started taking shots right away. Haley was not around so Carrie thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try and seduce Nathan. Meanwhile, Brooke’s mother showed up just to embarrass her. Mouth was set up by Brooke with her assistant Millicent. You could tell her really liked her but all of a sudden his boss showed up. He has been having a secret affair with Alice, his boss. She sent him a text message that said “if you kiss her you are fired.” She is blackmailing that poor boy. He did not kiss Millicent but then he realized that what he was doing was wrong. He was getting ahead at his job because of his relationship with Alice. Mouth stood up to her and ended things. Alice fired him. Brooke gave Mouth Millicent’s phone number and I am sure he will call her.
Lindsey has been on edge since Peyton came back to Tree Hill. She is convinced that Lucas and Peyton still have feelings for each other and so am I. Lindsey began to get annoyed when she found Lucas’s car parked at Peyton’s office one night when really nothing happened. She gave Lucas an ultimatum, Lindsey or Peyton. Then Peyton confessed she is still in love with Lucas. Three years ago, Lucas proposed to Peyton but she said she did not want to get married right now. Lucas took it as she did not want to marry him and ended things. Peyton kissed Lucas and he pulled away. Then all of a sudden he grabbed her and kissed her back! He proceeded to say he had to go talk to Lindsey. Peyton left and went to Lucas’s house to try and get him back. She figured when he said that he had to talk to Lindsey, he was going to break up with her. Peyton knocked on his door. Lindsey opened the door crying. Peyton said “I am so sorry.” Lindsey said “Lucas just asked me to marry him.” I started screaming. I do not know why Lindsey said yes to him. She knows that he is still in love with Peyton, if he was not then why did he kiss her?
I think Lucas is trying to convince himself he does not love Peyton and wants to get over her by getting married to someone else. Haley and Nathan got into a fight because Jason, played by K Fed, touched her inappropriately. Nathan, who just started to walk again because he was in a bar fight and had a piece of glass in his spine that caused him to become paralyzed temporarily, jumped in and almost hit Jason. If Haley did not intervene Nathan would have fought him. Then out of nowhere Quentin, a boy on the Tree Hill basketball team that Lucas coaches, hit Jason. Haley was mad at Nathan for almost fighting. At the end of the episode, the nanny went skinny dipping in Haley and Nathan’s pool. She told Nathan to keep the light on so he could see her. He shut off the light. Next week should be very interesting.

Spice Up Your Life

I am sure that everyone has heard of the Spice Girls at one point in their life. If I am mistaken, the Spice Girls are a music group consisting of five girls, Ginger, Baby, Sporty, Posh and Scary. Their real names are Geri, Emma, Mel C., Victoria and Mel B. They came out with their first CD in 1996. They had two very successful albums and one movie called Spice World. Then Geri, also known as Ginger Spice, left the group. I was very upset because she was always my favorite. The remaining four girls came out with another album. The album was good but not as good as the other two. Then all of the girls went their separate ways. Mel B., or Scary Spice, was featured on “Dancing with the Stars.” Mel C., or Sporty Spice, had a very successful single entitled “I Turn to you.” Posh Spice is probably the most famous of them all. Her real name is Victoria Adams, well now it is Victoria Beckham. She is married to the famous soccer player David Beckham. Emma, or Baby Spice, released three solo albums that did very well in the United Kingdom. They all had children and some are married. I always listened to their music even thought they have not been around in a while.
Then finally the Spice Girls were scheduled to embark on a reunion tour. As soon as I heard this, I bought tickets. The concert was Monday night. It was amazing. I knew it would be good because it is the Spice Girls. But they had children and are older now so I did not think it would be as good as it was when they were younger. I was wrong. They played a great show. They sounded great and danced wonderfully. I never went to a concert for them when I was younger so I was extra excited. The tour was sold out. I have never heard so many girls screaming and singing along. I could not even hear the Spice Girls talking in between songs because it was so loud. They played everyone’s favorite songs and each of them did their own song. They put on such an amazing show. I had the best time. I want to go again so badly.

Keep Dreaming...

A new episode of One Tree Hill aired on Tuesday night. Seriously there are no words to explain the love I have for this show! So it all started with Haley feeling like her new nanny, Carrie, loves her family more than she does, which is a total lie. Carrie is beginning to get on my nerves especially when she started flirting with Nathan. First of all, Nathan is married and so in love with Haley. Second of all, he is not the guy who would cheat on his wife. She needs to back off. Lucas and Lindsey’s relationship has been taking a hit since Peyton showed up. They have been together for two years. Lindsey is very insecure around Peyton because of the history that Peyton and Lucas share. We all know that Peyton and Lucas are still in love and will get back together soon. Sorry Lindsey, it is just a matter of time before you are out of the picture. Brooke and her mom have a horrible relationship. I felt so bad when she told her mom that she loves her and her mom said whatever. How could you say that?
This episode had a lot of dreams in it. Lucas had a dream that he proposed to Lindsey and Peyton was in the background saying “Say no, that is what I did when he asked me.” Haley had a dream that her son, Jaime, called Carrie mommy and then she caught Nathan and Carrie making out. Brooke had a dream that she told her mother she loved her mother said it back. Peyton had a dream about Lucas. Mouth is dating his boss but no one knows. His co workers are beginning to realize that she favors Mouth and is not as mean to him as she is to everyone else. He wants to be an on air anchor for sports and if he breaks up with her, he will not get his chance. That is what she told him when he was going to break up with her. The preview for next week was awesome. Peyton and Lucas confess their love for each other and kiss. There is only one problem. Haley saw them do it and Lucas is still dating Lindsey. Haley always seems to catch Peyton and Lucas kissing when Lucas has a girlfriend. In season one, Lucas was dating Brooke and he cheated on her with Peyton. Who caught them making out in the library? Haley! I can not wait for next week!

"You Drive Me Crazy"

It’s no surprise that everyone’s favorite pop princess has gone from the top of the world to the bottom of the barrel. Britney Spears’s life has been a roller coaster ride for the past year and a half. She is always in the news for something stupid that she has done. Now, she is being hospitalized for a month. If she continues taking her medication and finishes rehab, she will be able to get visitation rights for her two sons. Of course they will be monitored. Her ex hubby, Kevin Federline, is not opposed to letting her see the kids. I guess he realizes that the boys need a mother but who wants one like her? I mean I am sure she is not the worst mother when she tries but it seems like she does not even care. If I lost custody of my children I would do anything to try and get them back. She has missed court dates and when she got an afternoon with them, she left them in her car while she went shopping. What mother does that? I hope she gets everything back on track. I am not going to lie I like her and I am rooting for her. Her new CD is actually good. She has so many things going for her. I wish she would just grow up. She is still young but she has two children! She has responsibilities now. She can not go out partying like she used to.
Personally, I do not think she is really crazy. I think she craves attention so much that she needs to be in the news no matter if it is bad publicity or not. Some people are saying that Spears has had a mental disease for quite some time. But the singer claims there is nothing wrong with her. She just needs to clean up her act! But do not worry Britney, we all love hearing these new crazy stories about you!

More Than Just a Teen Soap

A lot of my favorite things change. My favorite movie, my favorite song and my favorite outfit all have a way of becoming something different in a matter of weeks, sometimes even days. But one thing that has not changed is my favorite television show, One Tree Hill. Currently in its fifth season, One Tree Hill (OTH) has remained my number one since the very first episode of season one. The show is basically about two half brothers, Nathan and Lucas Scott. They share two things in common, their father and their love for basketball. During the first season, the two hated each other. Lucas is the abandoned son of Dan Scott. His mother, Karen, got pregnant at the end of her senior year of high school. Dan went off to college to play basketball and met Deb. Deb got pregnant soon after the first semester and had Nathan. Dan married Deb and moved back to their hometown of Tree Hill, North Carolina, where they all grew up. Lucas’s best friend is Haley who begins to tutor Nathan and falls hard for him. They wind up getting married in season one and having a baby in season four. Nathan’s girlfriend was Peyton, the best friend of Brooke. There was always a love triangle between Lucas, Peyton and Brooke. But when last season wrapped, Peyton was with him. There is a lot more to the plot line and believe me I could go on and on for pages about this show. I guess I will fill in a lot of the details as I go along.
This season, the writers decided to skip ahead four years. The season four finale left the Tree Hill gang as they graduated from high school. This season, a lot of the questions from season four will be answered in flashbacks of events that occurred over the time gap. The writers did not want this season to be freshman year of college for a number of reasons. Many of these teen soaps do that and are not as successful as they were. The OTH writers did a risky thing by doing something never attempted at by any other show. In my opinion, this show works no matter what you throw at it. This week was its sixth episode and I think it is amazing so far, just like every season has been. Every week I will keep you updated on what is going on with the OTH crew. 27 Dresses Fits

Let me start by saying I love Katherine Heigl. When I saw Grey's Anatomy she became my favorite actress. James Marsden, who by the way I think is one of the best actors in Hollywood right now, starred in 27 Dresses along with Heigl. Marsden can do every movie role possible. If you think he can't I can prove you wrong. He was in X-Men as Scott a.k.a. Cyclops, The Notebook, Sugar and Spice, Superman Returns, Enchanted, Hairspray, and the list keeps on going. I love them both so imagine how bad I wanted to see 27 Dresses.
I saw it last weekend. My friends and I got there a few minutes late and the theater was as packed as I have ever seen it. So, we walk in and there are literally no seats left. Then we see four in the second row. Even though my neck hurt, it was an awesome movie.
It was about this girl Jane (Heigl), who was in 26 weddings as a bridesmaid, falls for her boss but he doesn’t even know it. He fell for her sister Tess. Kevin, who is Marsden’s name in the film, plays a writer who works for the most popular newspaper. He winds up doing a story about Tess and Jane’s boss but is secretly working on a story about Jane. After the story about Jane blows up in the papers, she cuts Kevin out of her life. Finally, she lets him back in. I don’t want to spoil the ending for anyone who wants to see it but I bet you can figure out what happens. All in all, 27 Dresses fits!
